Maintenance Guide for the Digital Withstand-Voltage and Partial-Discharge Control System

Maintenance Guide. Maintenance of the YXY-D630 Intelligent Integrated Insulation Test Control System (Cabinet). 01 Daily maintenance: ① Visual inspection: remove dust from inside the cabinet and check that the internal control wires are making good contact. ② Panel-button inspection: check the status of the indicator lights and buttons on the panel. ③ Control-board inspection: check that the control-board indicators are flashing normally.

MAINTENANCE GUIDE

Maintenance of the YXY-D630 Intelligent Integrated Insulation Test Control System (Cabinet)

01

Daily maintenance:

① Visual inspection: remove dust from inside the cabinet and check that the internal control wires are making good contact.

② Panel-button inspection: check the status of the indicator lights and buttons on the panel.

③ Control-board inspection: check that the control-board indicators are flashing normally.

Weekly maintenance:

Use the calibration pulse generator to calibrate to 50pC and check that the partial-discharge signal is properly connected. Test all equipment functions to ensure that the equipment is complete and operational. This includes the daily maintenance items.

Monthly maintenance:

Tighten the screws inside the cabinet, on the control board, and at the terminals. Check the computer operating system and software functions (manual test, automatic test, and the status of all software icons during operation, etc.). Clean the inside of the console with the power off. If there is oil-immersed equipment inside, check for oil leaks and other problems. This includes the daily and weekly maintenance items.

Annual maintenance:

Calibrate parameters such as voltage and current in the control cabinet. This work should be performed by professional equipment personnel or the manufacturer.

Switchgear Cabinet

02

Daily maintenance:

① Remove dust from inside the cabinet and check that the internal control wires are making good contact.

② Check the appearance of all parts of the isolation transformer and filter for abnormalities. If there are buttons or indicator lights, check that they are working normally and clean their surfaces.

Weekly maintenance:

Tighten the screws and terminals inside the cabinet; test the voltage, current, and insulation of the transformer and isolation filter. This includes the daily maintenance items.

Monthly maintenance:

Check the regulator motor and the contact between the regulator carbon brushes and the coil. During operation, check that the brushes are functioning normally and that there is no obvious arcing. Check the coil for signs of carbonization (black spots); if any are present, sand them promptly with sandpaper. Tighten all terminals, check that all functions are operating normally, and complete the daily and weekly maintenance items.

Annual maintenance:

The annual inspection of the switchgear cabinet should be performed by professional equipment personnel or the manufacturer.

Test Transformer + Protective Resistor + Coupling Capacitor

03

Daily maintenance:

① Visually inspect the grading cap for deformation or burrs and check the transformer body for oil marks.

② Visually inspect the transformer exterior and listen for abnormal noise during use.

Weekly maintenance:

Tighten the test-transformer screws and lifting ring, and check that the wiring is normal. This includes the daily maintenance items.

Monthly maintenance:

Tighten all terminals. When the ambient temperature exceeds 30 degrees, vent the unit once a month; at other times, vent it once every three months. This includes the daily and weekly maintenance items.

Annual maintenance:

Test the transformation ratio, the insulation of each winding, and the DC resistance. The annual inspection should be performed by professional equipment personnel or the manufacturer.

Voltage Regulator

04

Daily maintenance:

Check for abnormal noise during operation and foreign objects on the regulator coil; clean off dust.

Weekly maintenance:

During operation, check that the carbon brushes are functioning normally and that there is no obvious arcing. This includes the daily maintenance items.

Monthly maintenance:

Tighten all terminals and test the upper and lower limit positions. This includes the daily and weekly maintenance items.

Annual maintenance:

Check the degree of carbon-brush wear. If wear is excessive, inspect the coil for signs of carbonization (black spots); if any are present, sand them promptly with sandpaper. The annual inspection should be performed by professional equipment personnel or the manufacturer.

Replace any components found to be faulty during the above inspections promptly, as required.
