Second Meeting of the Drafting Working Group for the National Metrology Technical Specification 'Impulse Voltage and Current Measurement Systems—Part 4: Method for Evaluating Calculation Errors in Software for Impulse Testing' Held at Jiangsu Xinya

On November 14–15, 2023, the second meeting of the drafting working group for the national metrology technical specification ‘Impulse Voltage and Current Measurement Systems—Part 4: Method for Evaluating Calculation Errors in Software for Impulse Testing’ was held at our company. Eight working-group experts attended, representing NARI Group Corporation, the National High-Voltage Metrology Station, State Grid Shanghai Municipal Electric Power Company, the National Institute of Metrology, China, the Electric Power Research Institute of State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd., the Electric Power Research Institute of State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Co., Ltd., Xi’an High Voltage Apparatus Research Institute Co., Ltd., and our company.

The two-day meeting gave the working-group experts ample time to discuss the draft for comments of the ‘Impulse Voltage and Current Measurement Systems—Part 4: Method for Evaluating Calculation Errors in Software for Impulse Testing.’ They revised definitions of key terms, analyzed and confirmed relevant clauses, revised points of uncertainty in the standard and ultimately reached consensus, laying the groundwork for preparing the draft for comments and for subsequent work.
